Jesus is The Way
Our mission is grounded in the Christian faith and guided by the Bible, especially the teachings found in the Sermon on the Mount, the Book of James, and the Book of Matthew. We serve individuals the world may label as addicts, alcoholics, or mentally ill—but we see them through the lens of love and dignity. Without insisting on faith or conversion, we aim to reflect the transformative power of God’s love, offering hope to all who are willing to pursue healing.
There is a certain way.
At Cumming Home Ministries, our HopeLinc mission is rooted deeply in faith, recognizing the power of God to restore lives broken by substance use disorders. Guided by the teachings of Jesus, we believe that healing encompasses not only the individual but also their family and community. Our motto—"the more important we make other people to us, the more important we become to other people"—reflects our commitment to selflessness and service, placing the needs of "the least of these" at the heart of our mission. HopeLinc actively connects individuals to professional treatment while fostering a faith-based culture of support and transformation. This mission comes to life every day at The Shop, our thrift store, which serves as both a fundraiser and a ministry hub. Through each donated item and every volunteer’s effort, we express gratitude and provide meaningful, joy-filled experiences. When someone in need walks through our doors, they don’t just find goods—they find grace, often receiving what they need at no cost. Our dedicated "voulteam" serves with excellence, turning The Shop into a space of dignity, generosity, and hope. Faith and love are the cornerstones of our daily efforts—believing God holds the future and that love is the great unifier of all.
